vag com address 46 not being read

Featured Replies

I need to read address 46 on my 409.1 vag com to get the part number of my ccu.

But, address 46 is one that it is not reading.

I bought the vag com a couple of years back and paid the $99 fee.

Do I need to upgrade or something?

cheers,

G WATSON.

You want 35 on an Octavia 1.

It's not reading 35 either

is it because I'm using an OBD2 cable?

Just checked my obd2 cable. It only has 7 pins - 2 4 5 7 10 15 16.

My cable ony has 7 pins - 2 4 5 7 10 15 16

That is probably the cause then, genuine Ross-Tech cables have 16 pins.

Does it read anything?

Finally got this sorted. Turns out that it was the blown fuse that was not allowing my vag com to read the ccu. New fuse now holding and I have posted a thread on the octavia 1 forum about it.
