Featured Replies

i currently have a 2002 red vrs octavia and the spoiler has faded, typical red car

i have given it a blooming good clean and polish, but to no improvment, should i go down the route of t-cut or is there anything else i can try before using that ?

any replies would be welcome

I had a similar problem on my old red Fabia...

What products have you used to try to bring it back to life?

only used my turtle wax ice paste polish, i have a bottle of t-cut but didn't want to go through the process of buying god knows how many bottles of crap to try and get it looking good again.

Just wanted to see if there was anything good i could buy before trying the t-cut

On the fabia vrs I had a similar problem and T-cut did as good a job as any - brought it right back to life :) A good layer or two of wax afterwards should delay the same happening again...

bargain might just give it a go and hope for the best!! give it some nice teatment after to make sure it wont happen again

The T-cut is probably a bit harsh, but it will work...as mentioned above, keep on top of it with the wax and you should be fine.

A quick whizz over with a Machine Polisher will bring it back to life if you know anyone with one..........

nah dont know anyone with one :thumbdwn:

im going to try the t-cut and see how i get on, will pop up a few pics on saturday when i get the time to have a go

Where abouts in norfolk are you? I'm near thetford(watton) and have the gear needed to revive your spoiler with a machine polisher.
