My warranty runs out on the 24th May and today popped into ALS to book my first MOT plus ask about an extended warranty. They said it will cost £295 and will go over the car prior to me buying. Question is.... is it worth getting as a piece of mind for my Fab vRS? Thanks

what you've got to check out , is whether the extra years warranty actually covers any of the common Fabia problems that occur , so check the small print or you will be wasting money

the main thing that will be expensive if it fails is the turbo , but generally there is nothing of great cost that fails on the VRS

Or put another way, check the exclusions, then ask yourself what actually is covered!

Also, how many years is that for? £295 is way too much for a 1 year warranty.
