1.9 TDi AHU light throttle missing

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Hope I've posted this in the right forum!

Firstly this ones not a Skoda but in an Ibiza however the level on knowledge on this site lead me to post,

Cars a 1998 model with just shy of 270K miles! And up till now has gone like a train and only sipped fuel, I've ad her from new and had her chipped to 115BHP by super chips at just over 40K,

Last 3 weeks I had a light throttle misfire it manifests from cold in an occasional slight miss on idle but is more noticeable around 1500 rpm on light throttle, holding the engine speed and increasing the throttle position goes through the problem.

Earth straps all good, EGR not relevant as it' been bypass from new!, Air mass sensor is working correctly and affect performance if unplugged, Fuel filter replaced, all lines good with sound secure clips, I'd like to check the values on the accelerator sensor but I'm unable to find any voltage values for this and the coolant sensor?

I'm thinking the accelerator sensor as it seems classic throttle pot symptoms - any help or guidance from the forum would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks:thumbup:

I's suspect the throttle sensor too, but you need to get it on VAG-COM.
