MK1 RS - Turbo sounds different every day

I was wondering if there might be any reason why a Mk1 Octy RS might deliver a very pronounced turbo whistle on some days and virtually none on others? The power delivery seems pretty much the same regardless with no stuttering or flat spots, but the engine does seem more growly when the turbo is quieter.

Mine was growly before cleaning the TB, afterwards it seems more "refined".

Could be the weather... the temperature and density of the air?

Glowplug light flashing loss of power

I have a 1.6 tdi 14 reg fabia estate. The glow plug light is flashing if i accelerate up to 60 and i lose power. Been in garage had turbo cleaned and all boost pipes checked. I had a reader on it with code po299 underboost?? Its still doing it. Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Hey, i was just thinking is it possible to unlock line assistant and road sign reading options using just a simple obd tool from amazon or any ordinary one? Or is it just specialised ones can do it? I know there is a service down in England ( only 1 I found so far) who does this sort of service. And this leads to important question, if I could do it myself, what are the odds i could completely mess things up? Or it is very easy and trouble free. Thanks

Hi, i just bought superb 2021 plug in hybrid. I got it delivered, on a spec list there is no clear indication that do I have reverse camera or not. To the point, on a tailgate I can see camera, but when car is on reverse I only have reverse assistant. I checked setting and can see nothing related to canera The questions are: There is camera but not working? What is see on a tailgate is just for reverse assistant and not actual camera?

For Sale: my original Alloys from my Fabia diesel sport. All 4 wheels are in need of restoration, but none of the damage is serious: there are no cracks. They have matching Hankook winter tyres that have been brilliant, and are hard wearing, but I stopped using them when two tyres were advisories on my MOT: they are cracking along the tread on the worst two, which still hold pressure, but the other pair still have 4mm of tread.. Good afternoon all. After not using my heater/blower for a couple of months. Turned on last week and aircon was blowing 'tepid' air. Have been to dealer this morning. They did a regas, confirming there were no leaks. Unfortunately has not cured the problem. They want to book in for a 'diagnostic' but cannot tell me what they will do or what they suspect can be wrong !! Has anybody had similar issues they may be able to give me some pointers towards please ??
