Alloys, what size?

Featured Replies

HI, I have a mk1 Fabia and would like to put some decent alloys on, I know they are 5x100 same as a Mk4 Golf etc and I assume 16" is safge enough, VRS etc 17" OK I think and any bigger a bit dodgy on the handling front. What about offset? ET35 usually looks good on a MK4 but what's best on a Furby?

Any advice welcome, above may be rubbish, just what I seem to be picking up from random readings, Cheers:)

I myself have run a few sets of 16's and a few sets of 17's on the Fabia.

I much prefer the ride on 16's but the 17's do look better.

Filling the arch a bit better.

I personally wouldnt go 18's on a Fabia, seen a few pictures and they look too big.

Ridewise i've heared its parp too.

I've ran from standard ET to ET13 on an 8.5" wide rim.

Its not really going to matter about et if you car isnt lowered etc.

But if your bothered about poke i'd stay within the 30's.

Have a look at the Fabia Alloy Archive link below, that will give you some options.
