312mm brake help?????????

Featured Replies

hey guys i got the front 312mmm setup from a tt and b4 fitting im told i need different hoses then the standard fab vrs ones does anyone know what ones i need exactly?

You don't actually NEED different hoses, my set up has been fitted with the original vrs hoses with no issues.

But if you did want the longer ones

Brake hose 1J0 611 701 G - Pair

Standard ones are fine. If you want longer hoses then you can get the TT ones

well its just been into the garage 4 a check up n the mechanics said that the front hoses have alot of stress on one side n the other side has alot of slack

so prehaps just bend the bracket slightly ?

and that i need to replace the front lower arms even thou they have polly bushes in ? :S

The wishbones?

You wont heve to replace the wishbones. It'll be the console bushes which causes the "play" or the ball joint

if you undo the 10mm bolt holding the flexi pipe bracket to the shocker , you can get a bit more slack in the pipe , a slight bend can also help

but far easier to replace entire arm then just the bushes lol
