Hello, my name is Carl and Im new (as you can tell lol)

I dont own a Fabia VRS yet, but I would like to have one as my next car. I have joined to basically find out more about them, the good things and the bad, things I should look out for, what I should avoid, etc etc.

Just a brief car history, I have had 2 modified smart cars, a coupe and a cabrio. First one was running about 80-85bhp (standard is 55bhp). I dont the wheels, exhaust, remap stuff and some visual stuff too. The second one was running around 95-100bhp, again done the wheels, exhaust, remap and also done forced air induction, stainless still intercooler pipes, bigger turbo and more visual stuff.

What Im looking at doing next, is to get a nice car that I dont necessarilly have to do much too, I would look at chipping/remapping it, putting Octavia wheels on it (if thats possible) and things like that.

So any help and advice would be very much appreciated!!

Hello and welcome. The plans sound good, and plenty of people have put Mk1 Octavia wheels on.
