Hi ,I have a octavia vrs 51 plate and recently a bought a vag com cable and the rest.....

I manage to connect it to the car and it come back with this fault:

17705 - Pressure Drop between Turbo and Throttle Valve (check D.V.!)

P1297 - 35-00 - -

Any ideas?

It could be one of a number of things from a leaking hose, through to a faulty diverter, n75 valves.

This comes up quite often and a search will give you more information. Search for 17705.

This is quite a tricky fault to pin down to any one cause and effect a cure for. If after checking the most common things and if it still keeps coming back and the cars performance and the way it drives is not affected, you could leave it
