Amp fitting and sub box?

Featured Replies

Hi, firstly is it possible to run a amp of the standard head unit in a Fabia VRS, I appreciate it won't sound quite as good, but i hate the look of aftermarket head units.

Secondly, I am after a 10" sub box for the boot of course, but would prefer one that is built into the side rather than a square box. Would this need too custom made or can you buy one of the shelf?

TIA

The standard stereo doesn't have the pre-outs required. You can (I believe) use a cross over to generate these outputs.

As for the sub box you will need to custom make one.

HTH.

i got a custom made box that utilised the spare wheel cavity. I currently run an 11" focal sub in it sounds great

From the HU youll need one of these it converts high level output from HU to RCA output

auto acoustics do a box or you can make your own easily enough with a bit of patience and research.
