After getting my turbo renewed @ £1150 last month, it has been that time for renewals! Road Tax, breakdown cover and MOT. Any what do you know, it FAILED!!

Yes, 4 years old and CV Joint boot has a split so another £100 to fix plus the £54 for the MOT. First time I have used this garage, as I wasn't expecting to get repairs! so checked this evening myself and it defo gone (enough dirty grease about) with the small end split virtually all the way around. about £16 for the boot kit, the rest labour +vat.

On the good side, renewed the breakdown! Directline (green flag) who I was with wanted £83 to renew. So checked Green Flags own website and that came in with £61 for exactly the same cover:confused:? Directline could not match that when I phoned them.

So the love I had for my Octy has been severally dented to the point I want a new car!!

Does anyone have info on the new VRS interior yet as could get my vote for the new car?

Re the seats on the facelift there have eeb some new pcis posted which suggest it still has the old seats in and the full leather is possibly only an option as per current VRS.

Dont be put off by the seat though Loz, im in and out of mine all the time and they still look like new after 6 months. Im thinking of buying some scotchguard from ebay to spray on them to make sure though. Go for it though (then I can come and have a look at it!)

Cheers Stu, I have seen the picks, what I can see the all black seats look nice:thumbup: if its an option we'll have to see how much. I will wait for the full spec (options) before taking the plunge though, this can't be far away as they start building in the next week or so?
