this is probably a straight forward action to most...

i have taken pics of my fabia vrs and the file sizes are between 2.5 and 3.5mb.

is there a way i can reduce these jpg files to upload here? or do i need to change settings on camera and retake them?

google "mihov image resizer" - I use it for anything like that. handy little free app.

Or if you already have M$ Powerpoint , then insert your picture (s) and save as JPEG interchangebale format. Makes a 3Mb file around 100k.

If you are using XP there is a power tool that I use available from MS.

You right click on the picture(s) and click resize and you can then resize the images to the size you want.

Another one I use on my Vista pc is VSO image resiszer which works almost identically to the MS one for XP.

Am usuing Mihov Image resizer which does the job nicely

And here's a dirty hack

Open in paint, select 'strech/skew' from the edit menu, stretch to something like 25% on both the X and Y axis - job done.

All other methods mentioned are better than this, but useful if you're in a hurry!
