just recently i've noticed that my car (VRS) feels like it is missing when i accelerate fairly quickly. this can happen anytime i put my foot down but usually when i change gear or let off the power. i changed the sparkplugs hoping that would cure it but there was no change. i have replaced the mass airflow sensor recently as the old one was causing a fault that was bringing the engine management light and the tc light. not sure if this is related tho. any ideas???

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body? I found it helped with the "hesitation" problem when the car is running from cold. I tend to clean it every 10k miles.

If its missing under load and you have changed the plugs already then it is most likely coil packs. Get someone to run Vag Com on it to confirm and if you can go for the Hitachi Bolt down ones as they are supposed to be the best. HTH

A boost leak can cause issues as the AFR will be out, again this can be checked in Vag Com.
