I only discovered that site about a week ago and ever since I've been sitting laughing at all the tat on there. Love it when the owner comes in and calls them all "front bottoms".

pd160 intake and filter helps but due to cost is hardly pikey. If you can call it pikey, but angle grinding out the cat & sticking a pipe in it's place is also cool. The pikey arch vent as mentioned, is also good. Dielectric silicone grease on the MAF plug is also supposed to help. Although a bit techie, cheap mods include rerouting the crank case vent pipe to atmos, and blanking off the EGR pipe with a bit of coke can.

I'm intrigued...(mostly because I'm skint and can't afford the proper pipe). I feel another devonutopia pikey guide coming on!!

The barryboys swear filter is epic. It replaces '205' with 'overrated piece of french toss', and 'Rover' with 'cost-engineered basic transportation device', just as examples over the one you've noticed- both after fanboys kept going on about their favoured cars.

i did the intercooler ventin mods on my last furby. got a vent from a audi tt. might just do it with a bit of mesh this time. think i have some in my garage.

Elephant trunk mod + clean EGR/intercooler - Great.

Cage mod may make a difference (did to me, not to everybody)

Both very cheap and easy and reversible if you're worried.
