want to get my vrs rolling roaded but where?

Featured Replies

hi, I want to get my little vrs RR but have IIRC seen posts on here stating that its not very accurate and pretty much useless.

can anyone explain why that is?

or should i just find a local RR and see what she produces?

First of all, whereabouts are you located?

There will always be accuracy tolerances with a Rolling Road. That's just the way it is :)

But there's a commonly held belief that some are more accurately setup than others, yes.

i'm down in the depths of kent, 20 miles from london.

can anyone recommend a RR?

TOTD are in Uxbridge, how close is that to you? Their RR is generally considered pretty damn accurate

I'm organising a JKM rolling road day on the 18th July - put your name down :)

AMD are in West Thurrock, next to Lakeside.

torque of the devil aint too far either. Got options now.cheers

Many people on forums claim that dyno's arent accurate bla bla...... they have never used one or understand how they work.

Find somewhere with a Dyno Dynamics dyno and you will get an accurate reading.

Dyno's are not a waste of time at all, they are a must when it comes to real engine tuning and testing, hence most reputable 'real' tuners have one, and the best seem to use DynoDynamics.
