A question about lowering springs!

Featured Replies

I'm looking to buy some lowering springs for my fabia, I thought that 30 - 40 mm would be a sensible drop so I had a look on ebay for some springs. I saw some apex ones that will lower by 35mm but when I emailed the guy asking if they will fit he replied "they should do", as this wasn't a definite answer I haven't bought them yet, here's the link: SKODA Fabia 1.4 excl. Estate APEX LOWERING SPRING KIT on eBay, also Suspension Components, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 08-Jun-09 23:00:06 BST)

anyone know if they'll fit my 2005 Fabia Sport? Also my mate owns a corsa c and he "accidentally" bought 30mm lowering springs suitable for a corsa b, so what I was thinking was would lowering springs for a mk2 fabia fit a mk1 fabia? I ask this because I've found cheap springs for a mk2 fabia :P and here's the link to them: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OMP-30mm-Lowering-Springs-SKODA-FABIA-1-4-1-6-07_W0QQitemZ390044785683QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5ad07b1c13&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

If anyone can recommend some other decent springs then that would be appreciated , not coilys tho, can't afford them :(

Oh I forgot to add that when my mate who bought the springs suitable for a corsa b fitted them, the car was lowered to approx 60mm.

I've 30mm Apex in my '06 vRS......I ain't fussed on Apex, suppose they ain't the worst but I couldn't wait 2 or 3 weeks for eibach to arrive! Collies next for me I think.
