hello everyone!.

i am now the proud owner of a 04 black magic fabia vrs and i love it!!

after having a couple unreliable cars over the past year (uno turbo,mr2,and pajero) i decided i should forget about cars and just get something cheap to run,insure tax and reliable...something boring.

i however came across my fabby and immediately fell in love with the subtle looks.i asked the sales man about mpg,tax etc and thought great it ticks all the right boxes so i took it for a test drive and that was it i just had to have it!.and so i did!!.

cheap and reliable but boring it is not and i love the way i can leave all those boy racers in their vtr's and sri looking sheepish.

i wasnt gonna do any kind of mods to it but i love it and must treat her to some subtle mods eg remap,lcr splitter,tints and poss some 17s..all in good time.

carried out my first mod today,led sidelights..what a fiddle.but all done now thanx to the threads on this great forum..

Outback going, what next?

After dropping a wodge on the Outback for a new battery only for the tailgate issues to immediately recur and funnily enough for a internet search to suddenly (wasn't before) flag that there is a persistent and long standing Subaru issue with a parasitic battery drain via the telematics module. Basically the car continually tries to phone home and drains the battery, the tailgate control module is acutely sensitive to voltage meaning that if the car has sat for more than a day (sometime less) th

Hi folks, I'm finding the steering feel of the Superb somewhat lifeless, vague and far too light. Looking for your help to see what I can do to improve it Having owned 3 other VAG's (2 x Golf R's and 1 x Golf Alltrack) I'm used to the lack of steering feedback however, the Superb is the worst so far. Hi guys. I tried to code lane assist for my 2019 SUPERB FL using Icar pro Vgate and car scanner pro. Lane assist is showing on dashboard and in the options but it doesn't work. The icon is yellow, car displays message that it is not currently available. What did I miss... A5 camera is 2Q0980653. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks! Maybe there is someone with Obd11 in Shrewsbury area wilkingvto help if car scanner can't perform this coding?

Hi all, Anyone else getting repeat Infotainment updates that don't appear to be installing, I'm getting this problem on my 2024 Superbs Infotainment unit nearly every day, when I look on the Information tab I can see the updates and when it says they're installed, and a prompt to say the installation will be active the next time the car is started, so all looks correct. My recent (non-Skoda) cars have given dashboard warnings when the battery in the key fob runs down. This gives the driver the opportunity to change the battery and to keep the key functional. The battery in my Superb's key fob recently ran down, and it went from fully operational (working the button "plip" as well as the keyless entry) to completely flat during the course of a day at work.
