Have a look in your hand book it sometimes tells you how much between marks,

But if not available, let the car stand on level ground for 30 Mins ish, take a reading

and if it is on Min, put a small amount in and again leave for 15 mins and recheck it

and see how far it has gone up, and keep doing this till it gets to the full mark.

But DON'T put too much in, that will do more harm than having just a little less in

dipsticks are usually between 500ml and 1L from empty to full on common cars.

I'd put in 250ml and see where it moves to then do similar again until you're up to a decent level
