Featured Replies

Hi guys

Im going to get my standard wheels on my yellow vrs refurbed and painted gloss black and whilst they are away i was going to change the colour of my brake calipers.

I was thinking of getting them done yellow as i think it would look nice and be a bit different and wondered what you guys think and has anyone else changed the colour of theres and if so could post some pictures up please

cheers

I reckon either yellow, purple or black on a yellow car.

Yellow would be good....

Check out your local Halfords store....

Some of the foliatec brake caliper paints are reduced but cant remember which colours... :)

Change from Skoda Green!!!!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I have thought about painting my calipers yellow too [my vrs is yellow]but i do think the green suits a yellow car very well.Give it a go mate

NO don't do it! :thumbdwn:

Skoda Green suits the car pefect and IMHO i think any other colour would ruin the overall look of the car!

I hate the fact Skoda changed the calipers to Red on there newer models.

Infact if i upgrade to a newer vRS i will be promptly repainting the calipers back to Green, how they should be!

:+1:

Dont take the calipers off to paint them, lol.

I think Yellow would look nice behind the Gloss Black Wheels but i do have a soft spot for the Green.

Kind Regards

Garry

Hello,

Just a passing thought, em, wonder what the overall effect would be ?

IF the wheels were painted Skoda green and the calipers painted yellow (that matched colour of car) certainly be a personal choice.

Anyone know exactly what name Skoda has for it's shade/s of green ??

The car badges seem dark, yet the racing team car green, looks very light in a different shade of green ??

Did anyone ever experiment with different colour calipers on a red vRS?

Yellow? Gold? Red?

Or just stick to green? B)

Green calipers are hideous.

I painted mine black when the wheels were silver, then red whan the wheels went anthracite.

I'd personally paint them silver or black. Think yellow will look a bit "Halfords", if you know what I'm saying?

Yeah, I'm a bit dubious about yellow, but it goes with red. Not sure about black or silver. I think red could look wrong on a red car, especially if it's mismatched.

Painted mine black as the green wasnt for me.

I don't think the green is that bad. I was just thinking of trying something else.

Not an Octy but I have black calipers
