Can anyone recommend where to buy a set of filters for my 1.4 TDi? I've already got an oil filter so just air and fuel would do.

The best price I've found so far is £35 delivered for a kit of all three.

Other than your Dealer, most people on here I think use either VWSpares Skoda Fabia Parts - Skoda Fabia Spares or TPS Trade Parts Specialists. It looks like TPS have 10% off their filters nest week from Monday.

Do I take it the Parts club prices are for traders only and they charge retail for "over the counter" sales?

For people in the area, Chester Exhaust Services are very good for oil, filters and common bits (no connection only a satisfied customer)
