hi every1 last time i was asking for a 1.8t 20v engine swap many didnt recommend this swap cause the engine is too wide to be fitted in a felicia bay , also i heard about a 1.4 16v 100hp from 6n polo but its a rare engine and its spare parts are very hard to find ,by the way i couldnt find any1 on the web has performed this 1.4 swap !? . i decided to modify the 1.3 carb , any suggestions about new carb, throttle body, custom exhaust or lightweight parts ??? (97 felicia)

In some countries the Felicia was carb rather than injection. Not sure of the rationale, but I know a carbed Felicia in the UK wouldn't have been legal to sell. And oh yeah, "i" in the model number should indicate injection.

mine is a carbi, 1289, and the best thing to tune them is taking them to a dyno, now, you can swap the jikov and get a weber, slighty large 28/30 and it will run great (im watting to do the engine makeover to fit this one in) i've seen a couple of engines with 4 bike carbs jetted and tune for the 1.3 and it does give lots of torque.

going a little off spec with the valve clearance (increasing the clearance on the exhaust) give you a small boost in engine power in low rpm, dont change the muffler diameter, just get a bigger box and swap the middle for a straigh fiber one, if you increase the diameter is going to loose power
