VRS.. time for a tune up... advice please

Featured Replies

Hi all

Well I've had my lil Fabia VRS since October, and so far I have done the following.

A very nice ICE system installed (a pain in the *** and no matter what they say 17cm's dont fit comnpletly in the front doors)

A remap from CelticTuning. I can recommend these guys as being knowledgeable and helpful. They also gave it to me for £300.

With regards to remaps, I had a 2.5TDi Superb which i had remapped by AMD. oh it was a smokey bugger after that. But i must admit that i've not had the same problem with CelticTuning.

I have also changed the intake pipe for the air filter, with the standard opne from a seat Ibiza 160TDI.

and the air filter is another one, but i cant remember the make.

So now on to the next questions....

I'm looking at these bits...

PiperCross - Induction Kit VFC294

Pipercross induction kits and viper induction kits

Skoda Fabia VRS 130 Diesel Front Mount Intercooler

Forge Motorsport | Alloy Fabrication

FABIA VRS TDi 2003 - 2007 FULL SYSTEM INCLUDING 200 CELL MOTORSPORT CAT

Blueflame Performance Engineering

I've also been recommended a new Turbo downpipe.

So now the questions...

The induction kit... is pipercross decent? any feed back? Why not K&N (heard they have a habit of screwing up air controller?)

Exhaust system... whats BlueFlame like? they seem bleeding expensive (mind you saw one on ebay for 250)

Intercooler... What is the benefit? what will it give me?

All i wish i had now was a quattro version of my car. already have way too much torque steer.

Anything else to consider?

Thanks guys

Mav
