rattling rad

Featured Replies

Got the classic rattling rad. Can't be bothered replacing mounts right now but plenty of people have mentioned success with jamming pipe foam around the rad instead as a bodge fix.

Just had a bash at this myself but can't see an obvious place to wedge the foam. Does anyone have any pics they can provide or a detailed guide as to where they go?

Cheers,

This my method. But bear in mind my rattle is predominantly on this side.

I wrapped the lagging in gaffer tape then used a bit of double sided foam type stuff to hold it in place.

Could be a bit neater I guess but it serves the purpose for now.
