New seats! The things you sit on not the cars!

Featured Replies

Had a busy weekend of DIY around the house and was quite upset at not being able to go surfing :thumbdwn: BUT on the plus side I did manage to fit a nice set of GT TDi seats out of a late mkIV Golf :D. The fronts are very comfy and supportive and being late model they have the lumbar adjustment as well .

They are from a three door Golf and whilst they do fit in the Octi, the rear side bolsters are smaller and there is a slight gap between the base and the back toward the outside edges. As I dont spend much time in the back "I don't really care" :D:D.

I am sure my cornering speeds have gone up a bit as well as you get held in much tighter. before if I left my phone on the passenger seat it would fly off the side and dissapear under the seat, but now it cant escape as the seats are a lot deeper..

Now where can I get some Dye for the carpet???? and will it stain the bath? SWMBO Alert! SWMBO Alert!

look at my old post about dying the carpet and yes to the bath question
