Would a standard cd player headunit from a 53 plate vrs fit in to my 02 elegance??

Only reason for asking is that with my other car, there were significant variances in colour of consoles over the years so i need to make sure i dont end up with a silver HU to fit my black dash!!!!!!

Also more technicially, i guess the wiring is standard iso across the entire range for the duration of the fabia 1's life?

It should fit pyhiscally, and as for colours I am pretty positive that they were all black/grey/dark head units.

As per the wiring I guess it might differ on some of the lower spec models (less speakers), but that shouldn't be an issue on yours though - alothough I am not 100% on that last bit.
