hi

im stew. new to skodas. but got 3 vw's 2 mk2 golfs(one is a rally car) and a passat.

i have bought a silver 03 octavia vRS.

my plan is to enjoy the car as its been 5 years from me wanting one to buying one.(mainly because of my age)

i plan to tidy up a few bits of scabby paint and i may be tempted to look under my bonnet and throw my wallet at the engine, any tunning tips welcome, whats the norm that people do. and if you can recommend any parts or suppliers please do.

thanks

stew

im based just outside Grimsby..... yes is it as good as it sounds.

my octavia is an 03 plate vRS with 66000 miles on the clock im the 3rd owner. it has a couple of faults, passenger front elec window dosent work. (can hear the motor but window dosent move) the front bumper needs paint and a bit on the back quarter. engine light keeps coming on flagging up the secondary air sensor ?. car runs fine could do with disks all round. previous owner put fronts on a couple of months ago but they seem to be warped.. all of this reflected in a fantastic price.....

ill pop up some photos

here is the golf and passat.. skoda photos to follow ive not taken any yet

golf has been fully built by myself inc engine wich is producing 216bhp. im in progress of taking the 2.8 vr6 engine out of the passat and putting it in my second golf. bit of a summer project. hope the files arnt too large.
