new vrs 2.0tdi cr 170

Featured Replies

I picked my car up from Motorpoint last Wednesday. The new CR engine is fantastic compared to the PD in my last car- much smoother and more refined. All cars get a standard manufacturers 2 year warranty and it is UK dealerships that give the 3rd year. I have paid for the extra year. My previous car was an 06 plate Octavia elegance 2.0TDi which I bought through a broker. This was also an import. I have not noticed any difference in part ex valuations when shopping around at various main dealers. A few have commented on it being an import but Skoda never mentioned it and actually offered me the best price.

on a different note .have you noticed any difference in ride comfort with the vrs suspension against your elegance. i was thinking on changing but am wary of a possible harsh ride.

The vRS is firm but not harsh.

I have not noticed a difference, as I had the the sports suspension and 17" alloys on the elegance
