Dyslexia font that may improve things

Featured Replies

Came across this at work - it's an MS compatible font aimed at improving the readability of words by making the letters more asymmetrical. I know a few people on here have said that they are dyslexic, and I thought this might help.

The site it came from is www.studiostudio.nl, but all the content is in Dutch. Their email address is [email protected]. The font is free to use for private use, but I think schools or other organisations should contact studiostudio at the above address where they can obtain a more suitable version.

To my knowledge all you do is unzip the file and copy it to c:\windows\fonts, and the act of copying it should trigger automatic detection and registration of the new font. You should then be able to select it in MS word.

If you try this and like it, then I think it would be good practice and only fair that you contact studiostudio and tell them what you think of it.
