Can anyone identify this pipe?

The one in the red box near the bottom right corner of the image?

Note: It's a 2001 1.8t vRS and your looking at the right hand front corner of the rocker cover.

I was doing some cleaning and noticed that the 'Y' shaped pipe above the one in the box was split on Friday. Luckily the dealer had a replacement on the shelf so I was able to get it swapped over, but as I came to undo it I noticed that the pipe in the box was also split.

I think it's just a breather pipe, but the dealer couldn't identify it for me on the etka system.

Is anyone able to find it for me and even give me a part number? Would be most helpful! A pint is on offer for a successful identification!

dont have ETKA in work but it is the lower breather hose that goes across to the crankcase vent.

si replace it mate with the uprated one or a catch tank and silicone hose

Hopefully the first part no. and link you quoted is the pipe that connects to the right hand side of the Y-piece which did literally crumble in my hands as I was changing the first one!

when i took it off it was completly shot the only bit that had metal in it was the 2 end sections only........and not only was it in bits the bits that where intact was nearly blocked with crap......

hence why ive gone down the catch tank road.....##

i still have the pipe at home will take a pic for you lol:P

and the catch tank makes a massive difference to the intake cleaness .....
