Since owning the car (March 07) i have never seen the little spanner service indicator but I always make sure my car is serviced every 10,000 miles. Because I do alot of miles (30,000 a year) i would of thought it would flash at me. Any ideas or am i servicing to regularly Bit confused with this variable servicing thing>

Hi, The Fabia vrs is not on variable servicing, its on fixed. As for the spanner not coming on when you get it serviced do they should reset this?

I have forgot the service intervals on the Fabia- I sold mine a while ago but I think its 12 months or 10k which ever comes first. You should get a full inpsection every 12 months and in between oil changes. I am sure someone will correct me if I have got this wrong.

As above theres no variable servicing it's likely that each time it has been serviced the indicator has been reset and you get it servied early enough for you never to see it.

Last time mine wasn't reset came on the day after it had been serviced!

IIRC It's time (364/5 days) not mileage. so if it's serviced 3 times a year and reset every service, You'd never see it!

No, it will also be mileage based.
