Would people agree.....

Featured Replies

Hi all. Want to get my wheels refirbed but looking £240 to get them done properly plus 4 new tyres £350. So looking a wheels but the ones I like are the OZ Ultrleggra's.

But would you guys agree that if your buying after market wheels, you need to lower your car to get the true looks from the wheel?

Cheers

Yes, 99% of aftermarket wheels make the cars ride height even more obvious!

I told OZ Volcano's (A wheel i really liked) because they looked aweful on standard ride height! Now ive got Coilovers sat there i sort of regret selling them! :(

I have lowered cars in the past and I really need ride quality because of the amount of miles I do. Lowering is out of the question but looks like wheel refirb might still be on the agender.

I think my red VRs would look mint if I refirbed them white.

Would like to see a red VRs with white standard wheels on standard suspension. Need to get a photoshop wizard on the go. Any volentiers?

Cheers

Fit some decent quality springs such as Eibach or Apex, and the ride quality is noticbly better in my opinion. It is NOT hard and bouncy like you get with cheap springs.

As for wheels, any aftermarket ones, as long as they are 16" will not make the car look any different as they are the sale size. If you go up to 17" then yes you will notice the ride height
