Featured Replies

I have had problem with power loss on my 2.0tfsi over the past couple of weeks. I started with all the usual. Changed plugs, coils, air filter even changed MAF.

I have had the car plugged in and scanned for codes and it has given

00768 Rear Heater Core Temperature Sensor -G154

Does anyone know what this is and how it can be cured as it's starting to drive me insane. Car is losing power when under boost/load

Could be the dual function brake light switch which is at fault.

Does anyone know where this is located and if they have heard of this before? When i put the car under any load/boost it seems as if the car is holding back and the engine shaped light flashes. Thanks

Right, havin scoured the net since saturday i have managed to find out what a so called rear heater core temp sensor is. It is known as an electronic temp sensor and is located within the Lambda sensor. I am told that it is the rear sensor (downstream) that has gone. Oh well part on order be here in 2 days and hopefully it will fix it.
