:thumbup:im a total newb to the car scene guys only been driving two year bought a vrs recently

so excuse the question but what does vag com stand for ive had i think it stands for volkswagon audi computer but im not sure as i took it to a specialist recently and he used a 5051 computer and he told me there the best one so could anyone explain the difference and what they stand for please thx guys

Hi the 5051 is the computer that main dealers and specialists use, I believe it cost a small fortune. Vag-com or VCDS as it's now called is much cheaper,around £250. Try this link for more info, Ross-Tech: Home. I got my VCDS lead from here SAB excellent service from them.
