Bought and cleaned some alloys before and after

Featured Replies

I've bought a set of alloys for the octy. Not in too bad condition, but a bit rough in general.

No plans to referb them at the moment, but might go gunmetal or anthracite on them eventually. So settled for a damn good polish.

The wheels were pretty clean but looked dull. First I used mer scratch remover on a foam pad on the drill, then moved onto the same stuff on a cloth. After I had buffed them back with a clean cloth I gave them two coats of autoglym super resin polish.

Will be fitting them Monday when I get new tyres fitted, as soon as thats done it will be a coat of alloy wheel protector and fit the new wheel center badges.
