Finally got my front grille sorted. I bought it from TrevorB33 ages ago and just haven't had time to do anything with it. When I got it, it was red, obviously no good on a yellow car so I went to my local Skoda dealer to see if they could get me some paint. They said they could get me the paint in rattle cans which was ideal because it meant I wouldn't have to mess around with compressors and spray guns. So I order 4 cans but then a couple of days later, Skoda called to say that they couldn't get the paint as the colour is now obsolete :eek:. But they did put me in touch with the bodyhop who does their body repairs. A guy called Mark at Cotswald Accident Repair in Witney, Oxfordshire was very helpful. I took him the grille, which I had already primered, and he mixed the paint and sprayed it up for me for the very reasonable sum of just £30 Colour match is spot on and it's a really nice finish.

Just reckon I should get the lower grilles to match now, dunno maybe not, what you reackon?

Yeh I like that, quite subtle, would loose the tow sticker though

I would, but I use the car for motorsport events and if it does need towing out the marshals don't have to spend ages looking for the towing eye.

I like it but just not as much as a car with a standard but body coloured grille, I think it needs the badge as a focal point.

To that end I wouldn't body colour the lower grilles (if that's what you meant) since it would remove all the depth from the car.

Unless you mean get the milotec lower grilles, then they look OK.

I'm personally not overly keen - makes the frame of the grille look too wide.

And you could always put a word in front of 'Tow' to make it more interesting
