Have over the last three years plugged away with Skodas own window wash fluid after reading all the gubs on plastic piping disintergration if you dont stick with Skodas stuff.

Now I am out of warantee and fed up with the smell of the stuff also the white streaking, can anyone recommend a safe really good fluid to stick in the plastic bottle..

Might be worth give the screen a good clean and/or new blades to stop the streaking.

As for the smell ......I quite like it ....lemons iirc

The white streaking is left by the actual Skoda fluid. Has always left white streaks, whether the wiper blades are new or old , whether the window has been well and properly degreased, it appears just to be a feature of the Skoda flluid which is why I ask for advice peeps...

and I dont particularly like the smell, (but then I dont like the smell of cats pee)

I quite like the Halfords concentrated stuff , i've been using it for years

I used to use that but it clogged up my pump and nozzles.

Try wiping the screen with Rainex Wipes....makes rain bead up and roll off without having to flick on the wipers!
