split /broken DV

i had a lack of boost on my car for a while, which i beleived to be my DV. The symtoms were loss of power and boost(not massive though), and also as i had the forge spacer fitted as well, i could hear it venting off all the time, way more than usual.

So when i took it off today i was mighty suprised when it fell apart in two as it was removed from its location:eek:. As well as that there was a tiny rip in the diaphragm.

Im presuming it isnt meant to do that??????. especially as the new D revision doesnt do it.

putting the two together the difference in build quality was noticably improved, and after fitting it my car feels a lot better.
