hi there! does anybody know if it is possible to replase standard phone charger with a vented one, possibly with button operating (as for Toyota)? the day before yesterday I put my iPhone 16 Pro Max on the mat and when I took it off, almost 40/mins later, it was very hot! Charging with cable it wasn't! So I'm wondering to know if it possible to replace it! Thanks! Ben

It powers but it does NOT communicate at all! Are there specific pins where connect the module? However the connector I’m talking about is the one circled

I know but if I cannot access to the module, how can I upload the correct dataset in the module itself? Once the module is visible on the installation list I should see as RED but at least I can access to it, am I wrong?

Yes, I bought the 57A092160N kit When I ordered the kit from Carsystem, he included as Control unit the one with part number 5H2907383B —> according to the Skoda Service that installed the kit this Control Unit is specific for Electric cars (Elrpq, Enyaq etc.). Investingatong on ETKA the one I need is the 5H2907383C, so I found one from a totaled car and Service told me the tow icon on the switch that goes in the trunk (once they connected) enlightened but hook didn’t move from its place. Yesterday, with the friend (with whom I restored the aircon) we saw the tow in the list but when trying to access to upload the correct dataset we got a message reporting wrong connection. We inverted the 1st and 4th pins on the third connector of the control unit but nothing changed, so now (after restoring the pins said above) I believe the problem is in the connection on the front

Yesterday with a friend of mine I solved the problem of the aircon not working (it's the climatronic panel: it was a for a 2017 car and mine is a 2022 and putting back the factory fitted it works great and now I found a 2022 panel with front and rear heated seats) BUT not the tow bar: looking better, checking with diagnosis we saw the tow bar is present on the car (it's powered) but it doesn't communicate with the rest of the car. Looks like it's connected in a wrong way but we didn't understand where! Does it have to be connect on the BCM or on the CAN? and at which pins? @Cairus @mr25 @East_Yorkshire_Retrofits can You help me?

Re-installed the factory fitted and aircon works again! I now believe putting the panel with heated front/rear seats support and without remote heating/front power windshield supports ii should have the aircon keeps on working

Did You have both of the 2 keys (and third one if You bought it) when registering car? Otherwise I think each user can register the car/cars he/she effectively own

I found my retrofit PLA on Carsystem.eu and it works fine (and got the side sensors painted in car color, paying in total something like 450 Eur, shipping included): only thing they provided me the control unit for the 2.0 version of PLA (the one with code 5Q0): this means You can make a parallel or in line parking. Looking better over ebay and ovoko I found the proper control unit for my car (a 5QA) that allows as well diagonal and exit from any parking. Last but not least I retrofitted the area view 360°, replacing also the panel and updating its control unit (the area view one) with the proper dataset: saying it's one of the best retrofit I ever done it's not enough! So glad I make it! Nevertheless my car is a 2022 FL and SFD2 was still unlocked: I heard that from 2024 is quite hard to make such retrofits at the moment! PS: installation was almost 200 Eur

I checked the part numbers of Climatronic panels: 1. The Factory fitted of course didn't heat the seats so it looks like putting it back (had no time yesterday) everything should work again; The one fitted (and actually installed) supports ONLY front heated seats (and I have also retrofitted rear ones) and according to Skoda mechanic it comes from a 2017/2018 car (mine is a 2022 FL); I found another panel that supports BOTH of front and rear heated seats (and it comes from a 2022 FL) I'm not sure that I can upload the dataset on the second one in order to make it work but I'll try while waiting for the third one. Always Skoda mechanic told me early climatronics as the second one, even if looking like the third one, have a different way to support the aircon compressor/pump so he suggested me to look for one like the third one.

Hi there! I recently installed on my car an OEM Electric tow bar on my 1.5, but pressing the button inside the trunk, nothing comes out from under the boot. According to Skoda workshop, problem was the control unit: it was the model specific for electric cars with part number Skoda 5H2907383B; in fact looking on VAG the right code for my car is the 5H2907383BLc. I found a pre-owned one over eBay and when mechanic connected it and turned car on, it enlightened itself for awhile. Is it matter of dataset or what else?

Hello! With the Heat we are experiencing in these days in Italy (more than 30º) I decided to use the the aircon, as last Summer it was really wonderful BUT with my surprise it doesn’t work! I thought there was no gas in the tank but test said there was; I also put new from the beginning but nothing changed: Skoda mechanic told me he doesn’t hear the compressor starting. Thinking to the works I made on the car, I realized I replaced the climatronic panel with the one with heated seats and since then I didn’t use the aircon. I also made a soft reset (aircon + front vents buttons pressed with ignition on and car not started), I heard the flaps moving, but nothing changed! I also read I need to coding ait again via OBDELEVEN (it’s necessary after a front panel/compressor are replaced) but I don’t have anyone close to me who has it. Any other suggestion meanwhile?

Skoda workshop told me the control unit/module of my kit is 5H2907383B; some sites say it work with Karoq, others say I need the 5H2907383C; any suggestion?

Hello Everybody! Last week I brought my 1.5 to Skoda Official Workshop to retrofit the electric Towbar: today they called to inform me every had been successfully installed and connected BUT NOT coded as it looks like the control unit/module seller provided me is not for Karoq but for electric cars (Elroq/Enyaq): I don’t have it in front of me right now to read the part number, BUT can anybody please tell me which is the right one?
