Im getting some new tyres for a set of 17" alloys next week to replace the oem set up on the car.

I have decide to plump for a 40 profile

but am humming and ahhing about the width of the tyres

205 or 215

Any pros/cons of either width of tyre on a fabia?

Any views will be welcome because i cant make my mind up.

i have 215 40`s on mine with no problems

but you will need to watch out as the speedo reading will be affected mines now reads 1mph over actual speed measured on the satnav

That's more accurate than mine on standard wheels and tyres!

Mine is out about 4mph down when i checked against gps

on the standard size wheel set up
