What is it???

Featured Replies

OK stoopid question but...

.....near the handbrake there is a holder of some sort, you press it and it opens. Its too big for a mobile phone and its to small for a drink so what is it for?

I think it's meant to be a cupholder...

wtf is the use of a cupholder in car? as much use as a chocolate teapot.. every car these days seems to need at least 5 :)

You can get a much more useful storage pocket from a lower trim model that fits in it's place, fits a phone perfectly lol.

Anyone who wants my cupholder which is collecting dust in the cupboard is more than welcome :D

I use mine all the time when on long journeys. Mine will fit large Macdonalds drinks, to tin cans and bottles. The coffee nation coffees are my favourite use for it that you find in motorway services. I wouldn't be without it and it does self adjust onto drinks of different sizes.

I also use mine all the time, great for holding my bottle of water!

I used mine once, went round a corner, lost the drink under the seat.

Never used it since.

The one for the back seats is even less use.

it fits my bottle of smirnoff perfectly:rofl:

VW Polo cupholders are the best!

The one's in an Audi Q7 are damn good too (which you'd expect for the American market :))

The best one I have ever used was built into an ozzy made car fridge, it chilled the cans while it held them.

Bonza.

The one in the Lotus Elise was pretty good.

Octavia, awful.

I agree, its relatively useless. It hold a 330ml can well enough, but you have to be double jointed to pick it up to have a gob full! I'm currently looking for some DIN size cupholders to fill the hole under my stereo.

Actually the cup holder I use most in the car is called Carol and makes an annoying buzzing noise during hard cornering.
