Featured Replies

As promised here are the pics of the front grill and the two front outside grills I got colour coded and on the car. Really happy with the results

looks really good. nice splitter too!

That does look good. Damn, now I'll have to get it done too!

Very good. The best one I've seen on a race blue.

Very nice :)

Welcome to the colour coded grille club.

Is that a Cupra R splitter? Looks good, might have to think about adding one of them.

Thanks guys. I really think it gives a different look to the front of the car.

And yes its a Cupra R splitter. .€28 and 3/4 hr fitting time ;)

Looks good that. Can we also have a shot of the bumper from side-on, to show the splitter in profile? Thanks :)

Looks great. I really like the splitter, but I think that on any Octy that's lowered, it will be a liability. I'd be constantly catching it on kerbs when parking etc.. Same thing happened when I fitted one to my (lowered) Furby vRS...

That is very nice mate... I may have to do likewise... What was the total cost?

Good looking. Just thinking of getting mine done, together with some other bodyshop work.

Was thinking of letting the chrome grill intact and having all black grilles color coded.

I'm not so fond of the look of black opaque plastic of the grills. Just wondered if e.g. black paint if not the very blue of my Octy would be fine on the grilles...

Opinions?

Upto now I have always been undecided on whether or not I like the c/coded grilles on Race Blue...

You have finally convinced me to get it done

It looks fantastic...really fantastic

Cheers

I think with the grills being painted would take away from the sporty aspect of a Rs octavia, any other model would be fine. Just my opinion.

The splitter cost me €28. I fitted it myself. It cost me €40 to get the 2 outside drills fitted and €70 for the main grill. So €40 euro all in.

The splitter does not catch anything. It comes down to the same level as the lip further back on the bumper.

I'll take a pic and put it up later for you if that ok

Looks very Familiar. I've seen this somewhere before

Oh yes My Car. Bunch of Copy Cats :D:P

Looks good thought JC

Nice grill, I wonder what it'll be like on the FL vRS as I will be tempted?

Looks good JC, changed the front end for the better in my opinion

Nice. Badge done too?

I'm sure it doesn't catch anything on your car - it was Octys that have been lowered I was talking about...

Pic of the splitter from the side attached.

P.S I left the orignal badge on the grill when it was being painted. It was just masked off.
