tried adrian flux/Chris Knott for insurance.. adrian flux can't beat what i currently have from direct line which is currently £889 inc business use/recovery fully comp on my Octy II 2.0 FSI, chris knott will apparently not touch me as i've not got any NCB

23 with 3.5 years driving experience..0NCB, but

at the end of this month, i'll have been on the company car that i'm returning to my employer exactly 1 year after joining them, so technically will have 1 years ncb on a company car, however i need to insure myself saturday on the new wheels. direct line says tough luck, and i can't claim it retrospecfully.

any ideas or shall i just take the directline offer and run?

Take out a policy with someone else, pay on credit card, then cancel within 14 days. Get new policy with NCB. Job done!

shame my credit limit. although i own a house is only 200 :|

take out one of those short term insurance deals to insure new wheels for a month, then get proper insurance with the years NCB?
