A mate of mine just bought an Ibiza FR which needs a few repairs and he plans to modify in future. FMIC has already been mentioned along with lowering and perhaps a remap. If he does do this I told him to upgrade the brakes too as I already have 312mm's waiting to be put on. Although I noticed today that the FR has 17" wheels as standard so what's the biggest brakes he can get? Is it only the 312's or are there other options.

Well with the right amount of money, anything can 'fit' but 312mm like yours, are keeping the cost low so yeah basically short answer he should just get 312mm

What about the 323mm Brembo's off the Cupra R's? But I know they're fussy as to which wheels they'll fit under...

I was thinking this. It's on the standard FR wheels. Would it need spacers and if do which ones.

you'd need spacers to fit the standard FR wheels over the LCR Brembos, the Ibiza Cupra wheels have a different offset to fit over the (312mm) APs but I can't remember what it is without going outside to look

found a previous thread, the wheels are ET41 and run very tight to the calipers
