Headlight Switch reluctant to come out

Featured Replies

I was fitting the bits of trim following the bt install.

I had put my headlight switch in to use the car until I finished

Now when I push in and turn through light assist to and side lights it gets stuck half way and wont go any more

I need it out to get the trim back on

I can see soem plastic tabs down the side of the switch as the trim is off but not sure what to do

I took my switch out when fitting a hands free kit, I think you have to hold the switch, push it and turn to the sidelight position, then the unit should come out.

I used VRStu's site on how to fit the kit, so check that site.

I have sorted it

Pushing it in and turning retracts two clips for you to then pull out, it mush have been too far in or sat funny with no trim on it and was a bit stiff.

THanks

In case anybody wonders, you can undo the lower dash cubby or the side cover where the fuses sit and push it from behind to help extract it.
