Part Number for Plastic Wheel Nut Covers required

Featured Replies

Does anyone know what the part number is for ordering some replacement plastic wheel nut covers is for an Octaia vRS

I have noticed one of mine is missing and want to get hold of some replacments, it is the one for a non locking wheel nut that I require.

Cheers

Before asking your dealer have a browse on Ebay for any VAG group wheelnut covers. I bought a set of 20 (4 of which were for the locking wheelnuts) + the removal tool, all brand new for £10 delivered from Ebay!

1Z0601173Z37 are the ones to go over the normal bolts

and

1Z0601173AZ37 are the ones to go over the locking bolts

They are 57p + VAT each before any discount.

Be aware that there seem to be 3 different colours. I have all 3 but then again was given them by the dealer as I bought a new set of lock nuts.

1Z0601173Z37 and 1Z0601173AZ37 are this colour:

That is the same colour as the ones which originally come with the car (kind of gunmetal). I can verify that because I mixed and matched new ones and a few old ones already on the car that weren't damaged.

I did the same. The only downside was that they were the darker gunmetal colour described above whereas the originals matched the alloys.

Does anyone have the part numbers for the older silver covers that match the original zenith alloys.

I've noticed the neptunes come with the later gunmetal coloured caps pictured above.

Silver ones are 1z06011737z5   x 16 and 8D0601173E7Z5 X 4

I asked today for you whilst in DM. Keiths parts department

Cheers matey, very kind!

I'm still undecided whether to replace them with the original silver ones or the latest longer lasting gunmetal ones!

I'm swaying towards silver...

(I'm getting my alloys refurbed and don't want to put the old faded covers back on)

If you take one of the others off the nut, the part number is marked on the inside of the cover.
