radiator thermostat fan switch

Featured Replies

Hi, i have a skoda felicia 1.6 glx. 1996

I have bought a new fan switch - the thermostat that fixes into the radiator and turns the fan on when the engine is overheating. However the new switch has 3 connections instead of 2.

Does anyone know if i can connect to any of the 3 spade connectors or does it have to be particular ones i use? Also what do i do about the third connection? just leave it open?

I only have 2 leads to connect to it and according to the parts manual i was shown, the 2 connector switch was for the 1.3 size engine.

missed out info

The three pin is the same as in my diesel. It has a two speed fan. Maybe you need the same as the 1.3.
