im planning to remove the dash at the weekend , to get at the alarm to see if i can change it to a new one which i brought all at least the sensors as one of my clips are broken .

looking around the dash i cant see any screws :confused: any help

You shouldnt need to remove the dash to fit an alarm, i removed everything from my car except the dash and it does look like a pain to do, to start you would need to remove the undertrays/glove box and the centre console (this is a bit of a b*tch to do).

Once these are removed there should be enough room to fit/access any alarm without having to take out the dash too. I already have a dash out in 1 of my cars and i really didnt fancy doing the octavias too!
