VRS Throttle Body cleanin (gasket)

Featured Replies

Quick question. When cleaning the Throttle Body on a octavia vrs do you have to replace the gasket? Can it just be cleaned and stuck back on. Or is it like someones that once taken off cant be stuck back on ?

depends on condition when you remove so its best to have a new one to hand just in case HTH

:iagree: Mine was a sod to get off & a new one only cost just over a quid. Good luck

Yes that would be a problem, sorry didn't take any notice of where you live :o

If Scathel is helping you thats great , if not PM me and i will send you one up.

It can be done without changing the gasket as long as its not damaged during cleaning it should be fine, I didnt do mine as the dealer got in the wrong gasket so ended up reusing.

Ideally change however!
