Called in at a wheel dealer today to order a new set of 18 inch Momo Strikes for my VRS. However they have said that they come only with a offset of 35. I seem to recall this is the Audi offset and causes problems on the octavia II . I have a set of Goodyear F1 asyms to go onto them but have been told that this is the only size. They will call Momo on monday to confirm this.

Question is if anyone else on Briskoda is running non standard wheels with this offset without issues?

What width is the wheel as this has a bearing on the offset value.

Im running 19x8J with an offset of 42

I wouldn't want to go any lower on the offset as they stick out a bit at that

IMO if you are talking 8J with an offset of 35, they will stick out far too much.

45+ offset would be more suitable

I am trying to get a 7.5 inch wheel as the tyres are 225/40 18 , like OEM size.
