Interchangable 1.9TDI parts...

Featured Replies

Just crossed my mind that there are various versions of the 1.9 running bigger power than the vrs, would it not be more viable to buy a standard clutch for one of them rather than spend big money on an aftermarket one once you've had your vrs remapped?

(Only signed up today btw..so not wise in all things skoda yet;))

That shows mate ;) As for the clutch, they are all the same, and all handle the same torques. Rather than spending big money on a aftermarket clutch after a remap, just change your driving style and drive like a l00n @ 5,000rpm and no harm will come to the clutch :)

hey dave, welcome to briskoda, i'm from the wet state of tyrone too, do you have a skoda??

Naw don't have one "yet" lol Once I finish uni and start making a bit more money I'd like to get a vrs, what do you drive yourself?

Another Tyrone man here...Welcome Dave!
